We try to hold a range of activities, which is why Meadows Edge has activities co-ordinators seven days a week.
Themed Parties
Once every six to eight weeks we hold a themed party, where everybody is encouraged to take part in our fancy dress, play games and enjoy our party buffet. Our parties have included Pirate days, Mad Hatters Tea Parties, Halloween and much more!
We also arrange regular smaller clubs – such as gardening club, baking club and gents club to name a few.
Children are invited to some of our arts and crafts activities. It’s lovely to see the interaction and enjoyment shared between our residents and the children.
Princess, our resident cat, can be round wandering around the home and seeking out attention.
We also have regular visits from a local PAT dog – and many visitors also bring in well behaved pet dogs and cats.
A regular keep fit class allow residents to stay fit.
Our hairdresser visits our home on a weekly basis and every six to eight weeks the chiropodist pays a visit too. We’re also able to accommodate your own if you prefer.
All religious services can be catered for at our home. We have a regular church service held every month for those wishing to attend.
